Overview
- With so many different stlyles of accommodation within the reserve you'll find what your looking for without a doubt.

The Motor camp has hundreds of sites, sites are normally quite cheap aswell as the cabins, most of them have bunk beds inside aswell as a couple of family cabins. If you wanted more Motel style with a kitchen you will find units here aswell. The only accommodation that has private toilets and showers are the units and serviced apartments. If you're camping , glamping or staying in a caravan without cooking facilities there are plenty of communal kitchens around the camp with big fridges/freezers, a good amount of ceramic hotplates and plenty of toasters .If you need some supplies I.e. pots, pans & other cooking, dining equitment then see one of the lovley girls at the office as they have this for hire. The kitchens have dish washing soap and cloths/sponges to clean with. Every block has its own BBQ area, if yours is full and you are happy to find a different BBQ in the camp make yourself at home, make sure you get one early if you are coming in the peak season. You will find comunal showers and toilet scattered throughout the camp. Prices range from $19 NZ a night all the way to $600 a night. Book early, if its around festive times of the year people book years in advance.

Kimi Ora Eco
Resort

The perfect honeymoon destination, spa getaway, relax and heal the soul in an eco paradise. Your heart beats faster, waking up next to your favourite person, turning to see the panoramic views, you walk out and breathe the pure air of Kaiteriteri.

Everything you need for a relaxing weekend in Kaiteriteri, the resort is tucked away in the steep forest only a two minute drive from the main beach. It's not in the main hype of the Kaiteriteri beach so you deffnitly feel the relaxation hit you here. Unless you want to go to the beach you don't have to leave the resort, you have everything on the site. I have to say I've never had a better experience at a breakfast bar. Every morning at the breakfast buffet (included in your room cost) the resort puts on the most divine breakfast, Everything organic, fresh and exploding with flavour. Fresh cheese, organic yoghut, hand picked fruit, nuts, seeds and shredded coconut to sprinkle over the mouth watering museli. Breads, butter rich crossiants accompanied by a generous variety tea and freshly brewed coffee.

From studio to 4 bedroom units, prices ranging from $199 NZD to $470 NZD a night, book early if you want a better deal and booking during peak season will always be alot higher. At the office you can talk to the staff about the spa/massage/healing packages available, there is an endless package list and I can say from experience that everything in this resort is worth every cent. You can book a spa suite or take a spa in the spa/pool area the resort has for free, the pool area and rooms are surrounded by Native New Zealand plants and bush so it has a very secluded feeling. If you are into fitness and wellbeing there is a well looked after fitness track they have made through the dense pine forest, sign posted along the track are different activities to perform before running to the next. If it's your fist time in New Zealand seeing glow worms might not be as normal for you, well your in luck. Wait till the sun goes down and the sky is pitch black, head to the back of the resort and you will find the glow worm trail. When you get closer to the glow worms about a 10 mintue walk there is a rope to hold on to as you walk so you don't need to use lights. If the glow worms are scared they won't show their light, make sure you are very quiet and no lights and they will appear by the hundreds, when you can hear the stream it means you are in their territory.
